Access permits (Windshield Stickers)
Valid for a year, July 1st through June 30th of each year. No prorated permits will be sold. The next year’s permits go on sale on May 1st of each year.
New rates effective May 1, 2023
Annual Permit – $50
Single Day Pass (for one business day) – $15
Services with an Access Permit
Household Trash
- 33-gallon bag or smaller – $4 per bag
- 32-gallon barrel – $12 each
- All other trash – $20 for up to 200 lbs.
- Over 200 lbs. (by weight on the scale) – $190 per ton
Construction Debris
- Minimum disposal fee – $20 for up to 200 lbs.
- Over 200 lbs. (by weight on the scale) – $190 per ton
Household Items
- Vacuum – $4
- Mattress/Box Spring (Twin/Full/Futon) – $12.50 ea.
- Mattress/Box Spring (King/Queen) – $20 ea.
- Chair/Recliner/Loveseat – $15
- Sofa – $20
- Sleeper Sofa – $25
- Sectional (all sections) – $40
- Toilet- $20
Tires
- Bicycle – $3
- Car/Truck/Motorcycle tire- $4
- Car/Truck/Motorcycle on the rim – $7
- Larger Tires or Bulk Loads – (call for pricing)
No Charge with an Access Permit
- Food Scraps – Food scraps and soiled paper
- Recycling – Mixed paper, cardboard, bottles & cans
- Used motor oil ($5 for a 5-gal bucket of clean, used oil) (Dirty oil must be brought to the Hazardous Waste Depot- see below)
- Used oil filters- larger quantities will be charged $.35/each
- Clean Yard Waste – Leaves and grass clippings (no brush, logs, or branches) (Grass loads over 5 bags will be weighed and charged accordingly)
No Access Permit Required
Appliances
- Without Freon (microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer, stove, etc.) – $10
- With Freon (A/C, dehumidifiers, freezers, fridges, water coolers) – $15
- With Freon (Commercial equipment)- $30
Scrap Metal
- Gas Grill – $5-10
- Scrap Metal (push mowers, small metal load) – $5/load
- Riding lawnmowers (20 hp & under), medium-sized load= $10/load
- Large scrap loads (truck with trailer, etc.)= $20/load
Paint
- Oil, Stains, Latex, Polyurethane (10 gal limit per day, no spray paint or thinner) – Free
Electronics
- Computers, TVs, Printers, Peripherals – Free for residents and small businesses
- Other electronics (DVD, VCR, cable box, stereos) – $5 ea. ($20 for large items)(or $0.29/lb. for large loads
Batteries
- Primary (regular AA, AAA, C, D, button) – Free
- Rechargeable (Lithium, NiCad) – Free
- Large (electric fence, lawnmower, motorcycle) – $3
- Car/Truck (lead-acid) – $5
Fluorescent Lightbulbs
- CFLs (spiral lightbulbs) – Free
- Straight Tubes up to 10 units – Free
- Straight Tubes of more than 10 units – $0.20/ft
Propane and Other Tanks
- Camp Tank (1 lb) – $1.50
- Grill Tank (20lb) – $10
- Insulation Tank (spray foam) – $25
- Fire Extinguisher – $5
Large Yard Debris
- Brush/Logs/Tree Stumps – $10 min, then $100/ton (by weight on the scale)

Household Hazardous Waste
At our HHW Depot
- Dirty used motor oil-5 gallon or larger containers-(dirty= contaminated with antifreeze, gasoline, dirt, leaves, water, etc.)
- Bad gasoline, contaminated oil, spray paint, thinners, pesticides, pool chemicals, etc.
- Appointments must be made for businesses and schools, please click here to make an appointment. (Scheduler only open late-April-October)
- Open May-October on Tuesdays from 8:30 am-10:30 am, 10-gallon limit, $10/10 gallons. (not including paint)
WSWMD Swap Shop
- Open on Saturdays from April-November 8:30-12 pm
- Donation & shopping days alternate every other Saturday
- Closed on the 5th Saturday of the month
