As mandated by Act 148, Vermont’s Universal Recycling Law, all haulers and property caretakers that operate within the District’s member communities must register their vehicle(s) and obtain a license from the State of Vermont DEC and WSWMD. A list of licensed haulers in WSWMD is available here and town-by-town in each “Summary of Services.”

Haulers must apply in the spring of each year for their no-cost license from WSWMD.
