Photos, Photographs & Photo Paper
Any photographs or photo paper that cannot be reused must be disposed of as trash. Photo paper is not recyclable and cannot be put in the mixed paper or single-stream bin. An access sticker is required to dispose of household trash at the transfer station.
Aluminum Foil & Pie Pans
Clean aluminum wrap and pie pans are banned from landfill disposal. Please put clean aluminum pans and wrap into the recycle bin or in your curbside recycling containers. Mixed Paper Recycling
As of December 2025, WSWMD has a separate recycling bin for mixed paper. This bin is currently located next to the glass bin, opposite the single-stream and cardboard bins. Boxboard, such as cereal boxes, can be recycled at all recycling drop-off locations or in your curbside recycling container. At the transfer station, please recycle boxboard in our single-stream or the mixed paper bin. Please do NOT put it in the cardboard recycling box.

Cardboard can be recycled at all recycling drop-off locations or in your curbside recycling container. WSWMD will accept large loads of commercial cardboard during regular business hours.
