The Windham Solid Waste Management District (WSWMD) consists of eighteen (18) member communities. Many member towns have transfer stations where recyclables, trash, and compost are collected. Other towns provide curbside pickup service. The residents and businesses in the towns that do not have curbside pickup or a transfer station must either hire a private hauler or utilize our WSWMD transfer station.

Brattleboro
Brattleboro Curbside: The Town of Brattleboro provides residential curbside pickup for compost and recycling every week, and trash every other week. They also sell curbside recycling and compost bins at the Town Municipal Center.
