Any photographs or photo paper that cannot be reused must be disposed of as trash. Photo paper is not recyclable and cannot be put in the mixed paper or single-stream bin. An access sticker is required to dispose of household trash at the transfer station.

Mixed Paper Recycling
As of December 2025, WSWMD has a separate recycling bin for mixed paper. This bin is currently located next to the glass bin, opposite the single-stream and cardboard bins. Boxboard
Boxboard, such as cereal boxes, can be recycled at all recycling drop-off locations or in your curbside recycling container. At the transfer station, please recycle boxboard in our single-stream or the mixed paper bin. Please do NOT put it in the cardboard recycling box.
Cardboard
Cardboard can be recycled at all recycling drop-off locations or in your curbside recycling container. WSWMD will accept large loads of commercial cardboard during regular business hours.
