WSWMD Hauler and Caretaker Application

This is an application to collect, accept, transfer, transport or deliver recyclables, separated food scraps/soiled paper, and solid waste generated within the Windham Solid Waste Management District (WSWMD). This license begins on July 1, 2023 and expires on June 30, 2024. All haulers/caretakers hauling trash, recyclables, and/or food scraps must complete this license application.

Please provide your VT DEC Transporter ID#, and we will get your vehicle list from the State’s Vehicle Report Form
For each vehicle used to haul waste, please enter 1) Vehicle make & model; 2) Color & Year; 3) Registration # (License Plate and State)
* Please submit this license application to WSWMD by June 1, 2022. * After review of a complete application, WSWMD will mail the appropriate vehicle stickers to the applicant. * The WSWMD decal shall be affixed to all hauler and property caretaker vehicles for viewing at private or municipally owned facilities within the WSWMD District. * There is no cost for this required registration. * For questions please contact recycle@windhamsolidwaste.org or call (802) 257-0272 x113
