Manila folders can be recycled at all recycling drop-off locations or in your curbside recycling container.  

Brochures can be recycled at all recycling drop-off locations or in your curbside recycling container. At the transfer station, please recycle brochures in our mixed good boxes, do NOT put in the cardboard recycling box.  

Aseptic containers with foil liners are NOT recyclable at recycling drop-off locations or in your curbside recycling container. Aseptic containers (with foil liners) can NOT be composted in our C.O.W dumpster or your curbside compost container. Please dispose of your aseptic container in your household trash.

Christmas tree lights are NOT recyclable at recycling drop-off locations or in your curbside recycling container. Otherwise, please dispose of your Christmas tree lights in your household trash. Please bring them to the scale house during normal business hours if not in the trash.

Wooden and/or non upholstered chairs are accepted during normal business hours. The cost is calculated by weight, see our Fees and Materials Accepted under “Trash”. Metal chairs can be disposed of in our metal box. The cost is calculated by weight, see our Fees and Materials Accepted under “Scrap Metal”

Box springs are accepted during normal business hours. Cost: $50 per box spring- all sizes

Mattresses are accepted at the Windham Solid Waste Management District during normal business hours. Cost: $50 per mattress- all sizes

Envelopes (with or without windows) can be recycled at all recycling drop-off locations or in your curbside recycling container.
