Smoke Detectors

Smoke detectors are accepted at the scale house during regular business hours.

We will accept older ones with the radiation symbol and the photoelectric kind shown below:

There is no charge, and they will be recycled properly.

All other types of smoke detectors can be thrown out in your household trash.

No access sticker is required for smoke detectors.

(This also includes Carbon Monoxide detectors and Radon detectors)
