Where is Away?

A 7-minute educational video designed for elementary school classes (this video is for grades 3-6) to teach children where trash, recycling, and compost goes once it leaves the house, the school or the business.  (A K-2nd grade version is available on our YouTube Channel.)

 

The Secret Life of Batteries

Our battery recycler, Call2Recycle, proudly supported National Geographic’s project-based curriculum, “The Secret Life of Batteries”, focused around lithium ion batteries. Geared towards students in grades 6 – 8, the curriculum contains three lessons and can be accessed at the link below – (This will take you off the WSWMD website)
