Christmas tree lights are NOT recyclable at recycling drop-off locations or in your curbside recycling container. Otherwise, please dispose of your Christmas tree lights in your household trash. Please bring them to the scale house during normal business hours if not in the trash.

Chairs (Non upholstered)
Wooden and/or non upholstered chairs are accepted during normal business hours. The cost is calculated by weight, see our Fees and Materials Accepted under “Trash”. Metal chairs can be disposed of in our metal box. The cost is calculated by weight, see our Fees and Materials Accepted under “Scrap Metal”
Furniture (Nonupholstered)
Nonupholstered furniture is accepted at the Windham Solid Waste Management District during normal business hours. Cost: Calculated based on weight. See our Fees and Materials Accepted under “Trash”
Sofa
Sofas are accepted during normal business hours. Cost: $20, Sleep sofas= $25, Sectionals= $40 Loveseats & upholstered chairs= $15

Upholstered Furniture

Envelopes (with or without windows) can be recycled at all recycling drop-off locations or in your curbside recycling container.
Envelopes (Tyvek)
Tyvek envelopes are NOT recyclable at recycling drop-off locations or in your curbside recycling container. Tyvek envelopes can be recycled through a program by Dupont.
