Yard Waste

| A-Z Disposal Guide

GOT LEAVES?  We want them…..  Clean leaves are a great carbon source for our compost facility!

Leaves

Leaves are accepted during regular business hours. There is no charge for clean leaves. We will take your leaves in paper leaf bags and will not have to be emptied out, if you bring your leaves in plastic bags or barrels, they will have to be emptied out and the bags disposed of. We will also take grass clippings, flower trimmings & clean sawdust for our compost pile.

Any grass clippings over 5 bags will have to be weighed and could have a charge associated with it. No access sticker is required to dispose of leaves

Clean leaves means just leaves, and the container brought cannot have any branches, logs, or weeds mixed in with the leaves.

Clean Wood and Brush

There are fees for brush, larger branches, logs, stumps, and other types of woody yard waste and untreated lumber. We are no longer accepting small branches for our compost pile. We will take clean sawdust at no charge!

No access sticker is required to dispose of brush: Brush is a $10.00 minimum charge or weighed for $100.00/ton.

Invasive weeds/plants should be killed in place, but if not, must be bagged as trash and disposed of in the compactor!
See the scale attendant for more details.  Access Sticker or Day Pass is required to dispose of invasive weeds (since it’s technically trash)
