Utensils (Plastic)

Plastic utensils are usually NOT recyclable. Please dispose of your plastic utensils in the household trash.

If utensils are labeled “plant-based” or “compostable,” they may be placed in your curbside compost container only if they are BPI-certified and/or TÜV Austria certified. Not all compostable products are created equal. Examples of accepted certifications are shown below.
