| A-Z Disposal Guide

Scrap metal is accepted during normal business hours.  We charge by the load (or by the item) but we encourage you to bring as much metal as possible in one load.

An access Sticker or Day Pass is NOT required to dispose of scrap metal

Accepted items include:  copper, brass, stainless, aluminum, steel, iron, furnaces, water tanks, oil tanks, gas cans/fuel tanks**, metal sinks, brake rotors, tent poles, wheelbarrows, weed whackers, leaf blowers, small motors, lawn mowers, riding lawn mowers, bed & futon frames, dog crates/kennels, fencing, snow blowers, tools, metal scrap, chicken wire, barbed wire, exercise equipment, electric fences (batteries must be brought to the scale house),  etc.

Cost: $5-20 per load.

**Oil tanks must be cut in half and free of oil to be scrapped. Metal gasoline cans and fuel tanks must be empty.

EXCLUDED: Propane tanks, insulation tanks, helium tanks & fire extinguishers need to be brought to the scale house, disposed of, and recycled differently!
