Roofing tar is a hazardous material and banned from Vermont landfills.
All hazardous materials must be brought to our Hazardous Waste Depot.
If the tar is dried up, then it’s safe to dispose of in the trash.
An access sticker is required to dispose of household trash at the transfer station.
