Cardboard

| A-Z Disposal Guide

Cardboard can be recycled at all recycling drop-off locations or in your curbside recycling container.

WSWMD will accept large loads of commercial cardboard during regular business hours.
Residents are encouraged to separate and flatten their cardboard for proper recycling at the transfer station.

Cardboard going straight into the baler building does not need to be broken down.
Please let the scale attendant know upon arrival that you need access to the building to drop it off.

Please remove strapping materials and Styrofoam when dropping off cardboard.

Waxed cardboard, paper milk cartons, or boxboard cannot be placed in cardboard recycling boxes.

Boxboard should now be put in our mixed paper bin, as the mills are not accepting boxboard (ie, cereal boxes) as corrugated cardboard.

*An access sticker is required for cardboard drop-offs
