SPECIAL POLICY/PERSONNEL COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES

OF MAY 17, 2018

COMMITTEE MEMBERS PRESENT: Dan Toomey, Chair, Putney; Michelle Cherrier, Dummerston; Nancy Meinhard, Wardsboro: and Jan Ameen, Westminster.

COMMITTEE MEMBERS ABSENT: David Jones, Brookline.

WSWMD STAFF PRESENT: Bob Spencer, Executive Director

OTHERS PRESENT: None

Mr. Toomey called the Meeting to order at 7:00 pm. 

1) Changes and/or Additions to Agenda: None

2) Job Descriptions: The Committee reviewed and discussed the following job descriptions:   

  • Administrative Assistant/Marketing
  • Transfer Station and Compost Facility Operator
  • Office Manager/Bookkeeper

The committee made various changes to the job descriptions.

3) Discuss WSWMD Policy Handbook: The Committee reviewed and discussed the Policy Handbook.  The Committee made various changes to the Policy Handbook. 

4) Executive Session (if needed): None

5) Other Business as Legally Allowed: The Next Policy/Personnel Committee Meeting will be held on June 5, 2018 at 1:00 pm, with conference call option.

6) Adjournment:  Motion made, seconded, and carried to adjourn the Meeting.  The meeting was adjourned at 9:30 pm.
