School and Community Programs
The WSWMD knows that constant education is needed to keep everyone up to date with the recycling and special waste collection programs. The following services are provided to all member communities at no charge or for a minimal fee. Please contact us if you would like to use the services or have any questions.
WSWMD offers in-class presentations on a wide variety of solid waste topics (e.g. composting, hazardous waste, recycling, packaging) that will enhance any soils, natural resources, water and nutrient cycles, or recycling curriculum. Presentations can be designed for just about any topic and tailored to any age group, from K-college. Visits do not have to be limited to only one. There is no fee.
